Head Coach

Cecil Mamiit

Cecil is a former professional tennis player from the United States who went on to represent the Philippines. He began his professional career in 1996 and reached a world ranking of No. 72 on the ATP Tour.  Cecil represented the Philippines Davis Cup team, where he was undefeated until 2008.

Since 2012, Tennis Mechanix Academy has helped over hundreds of players to improve their players on and off the court. Our motto "Commit To the Next Level" translates not only as a player but aims to help with giving life skills so that our youth have something to bring to society. Every coach with TMX Academy strives to give our students core values and skills so that they may maximize their growth as a player, student, and model citizen.

Joel Dacay

Fitness Coach

Joel Dacay has over 20 years of training experience with numerous ATP players and top level juniors curently competing for major Division 1 universities. He was the trainer for the Philippines Davis Cup team. He is the Founder of Tennis Mechanix Academy, REAXN Performance Training System is a Board director for the Picture of Health Foundation, a 501c3 non profit organization helping free programs for individuals recovering from cancer and living a healthy and prosperous life.

Kahree Bellows

Kahree is a USPTA Certified Coach and is in his 5th year with TMX Academy. He grew up playing as a standout player for Burbank HS where the majority of our program spends its time.

Warren Wood

Coach

Warren was a standout player for Claremont McKenna University with NCAA titles for singles, doubles, and team best team winning percentage (.909) in CMS history. He became first Stag to ever lead his team to an NCAA championship and then win the NCAA singles and doubles titles (with Dorn), and only the fifth player ever in 40 years of NCAA D3 tennis...also defended his Ojai D3 singles title to become first Stag to win the prestigious event twice..

Vasileios Psyrras

Coach Vas played his collegiate tennis career for Vanguard University in Costa Mesa California. Born and raised in Greece, he has traveled on tour for the ATP and WTA. He has a driving passion for helping development of jr players to pave the way into a college and pro career.

Coach

Jean Lupien

JEAN has been with Tennis Mechanix since 2013. She has been a Director of Tennis and a coach for various USTA Regional Training Centers, working with baby beginners all the way through nationally ranked juniors. Her interest and focus with the Rally Stars program is to take players who are just discovering tennis and take them up through their first sanctioned tournaments.
